Accessibility Show
During my second year on the extened diploma, we were given a live brief from The Courtyard Theatre with the title: Accessibility. Our project was to create gallery pieces that could be accessible to people with disabilities.
I decided to create tactile embroidery that was accessible to the blind through touch rather than sight. I illustrated portraits with wool tops and thread and added layers to create dimension.
